| So, it's a bit overdue, but I guess it's worth mentioning. At this point, we've beaten the game. Actually, we beat the game a few weeks back. It seemed a little underwhelming, but it is the introductory raiding content; we were warned. Now it's just farming content that really wasn't ever hard or trying for achievements. Sure, Three Drakes™ still eludes us in both 10 and 25 man, but as for the content as a whole... at least Karazhan was a little hard for a bit.
Ah well.
The holidays are upon us, achievements are being farmed, Ulduar is impending. What does this mean for you? Well if you are a Balance Druid, we want you. We need a Crit Chicken. You will be expected to dance on command. Applications can be sent here.
UPDATE:
And then, there is this:

Until proven otherwise, I'm calling this a server first. Just because I can. Yes, there is quite the Deathknight there on his skeletal chicken. Also featured is Northman on his Red Proto-something gotten from some achievement. Way to go big guy. | | Viewed 53 times, 0 reply. | | First to 80! | By zirky, on November 15 2008 10:46 AM
| | Congratulations to Biggus, our Warlock turned Shaman extraordinaire, on being the first level 80 on Kargath, the first level 80 Tauren and the first Shaman to 80. He did it all on his own, no pocket healers, nor did he have others playing his character. Congrats big guy! | With the release of the newest expansion, we're releasing a new website, a new loot system and, more importantly, a raiding schedule that doesn't include content nerfed beyond all imagination. Actual raid content. With 25 people. Given a little luck, we might even kill something.
Following the clean slate that everyone is granted with the release of Wrath of the Lich King, we are once again diving head first into the potentially empty swimming pool of raiding! Maybe we'll be able to set the pace for raid progression. Maybe we'll just try and keep up. There's the distinct possibility that within 10 minutes of our first raid, we'll realize that we can't stand one another, much like attempted reunion of The Police at Sting's wedding to Trudie Styler, and decide that we were better off broken up. That actually happened. Either way, we have high hopes. To be honest, the hopes for a realization that being disbanded was better than spending 4 nights a week together is not quite as high as for successful raiding.
With all that being said, we're still on the look out for a few good souls, or barring that, a few suckers that can show up to raids prepared. We are currently seeking :
- a Balance Druid - an Elemental Shaman - and a Warlock.
There is no required spec for the Warlock. I assume a damage dealing Warlock is preferable. Beyond that, having Ritual of Souls trained is probably a selling point, I guess. I suppose that's classism.
We accept applications here or you can talk directly to one of our officers. They're mostly friendly.
As for credit where credit is due, Dyalad put together this fine web page, as well as the loot tracking system for our internal usage. Kinsley provided the pretty graphics.
As the man said "It's a brand new day and the sun is high. The birds are singing that you're gonna die." Powerful words, in the context of us singing that to a raid boss right before a pull, very powerful. Assuming lyrical prowess actually helped demoralize the bosses.
